Labor Day Weekend

We went to the zoo on Saturday.  The membership has definitely paid for itself ten-fold now.  We have been over twenty times.  Our first visit we purchased the souvenir cups, two adults and a child cup because refills only cost $1 for us and are free for Dirk.

The first place we head is to the barn house.  GOATS GALORE. You could hear the happiest baby in the world squeal with joy from a mile away I bet.

The covered play area is large and full of Dirk-sized entertainment.

The zoo has two splash pads and we always plan to hit that last.

Close Call : )

On Sunday we hit the pool, hiked around and went to a BBQ with some best friends.  Dirk loves water… so glad our community has a pool.

Monday- Labor Day at the Zoo

My little snuggle monster.

Vrrooooommmmm VVVVrrrrroooooommmm

Of course the sand box is a hit.

Thankgoodness for splash pads.  Both days were in the 100s…. and yes I wore the same “outfit” both times-washed inbetween thankyouverymuch- because you need dryfit and some serious cotton to survive out here in the desert in those temps… and of course, a splashpad : ).
