Our Little Family

The Toddler

Ms. Em

Props make these shots possible….

Action shot.

Sunday morning we threw up one of our sheets(our backyard isn’t the prettiest backdrop) and grabbed all of the pumpkins from the house.  Five minutes of pictures turned up some pretty cute shots of our little ones!  It should be of note that all of our pictures are taken on a little point-and-click… imagine what the possibilities if I had a REAL camera. One can wish.
Remember that the giveaway for the Nuby Sea Scooper is open until Friday!

Nuby Sea Scooper Review and GIVEAWAY

Nuby Sea Scooper

One of The Toddler’s new favorite activities is to help me clean.  Seriously.  How did I get so lucky?  I know that won’t last, but I am going to soak it all up while I can!  So when I introduced the Whale Pail from Nuby-The Toddler chipped right in and cleaned up all of his toys!

ALL OF THEM.

Our new nightly routine is to clean-up all of our toys, together.  Love how easy it is.  Anything to make my life easier while cleaning is pure bliss.  It is the little things folks!

Plus the fact that all of the water easily drains out of the Whale Pail as it hangs up from the side of our tub?
Perfect!

Black mold be gone! I still do a load of bath toys in the dishwasher to help kill bacteria-but this is just an extra step toward keeping our toys in pristine, playing position!

The Sea Scooper acts as a toy itself… as it gobbles up all of the toys!

Working on the alphabet AND cleaning up!

Make bath time easier and more enjoyable with the Nuby Sea Scooper!  After bath time fun is over, Nuby’s Whale Pail makes cleaning quick and easy.  Watch your baby giggle with delight as you scoop your favorite Nuby bath time toys into the whale’s tummy.  The pail has special drain holes built-in allowing excess water to easily drain away from the toys and quickly air dry.  Equipped with easy installation wall hooks, Nuby’s Whale Pail keeps bath time toys neatly on the bathroom wall.

Stormtroopers, Snuggle Bunnies & Mastitis: Our Week

Bath Buddies & Best Friends!

Em and The Toddler are now taking baths together, which makes bed time twice as easy and twice the fun!  While The Husband enjoys some adorable company, I can clean up the rooms, put away laundry and get out all our outfits for the next day-which usually is three for Em and two for The Toddler.  The temperature has hit back up in the 90s-which is detestable-but frankly normal for the desert.  Can’t wait for the 70s to make their way back into our lives!

The Toddler insisted on this.  Actually he mandated this.  Oh the power of love and a strong will.  The Husband even went out to get the mail like this.  Adorable Overload.

Our Snuggle Bunny- Thank you Uncle Bill, Aunt Darcy and M!

Keep your distance, though, Chewie, but don’t look like you’re trying to keeping your distance.   [Chewie barks a question]   I  don’t know. Fly casual.

Pure Sweetness.  With Rolls.

I now own glasses.  My first pair.  I can SEE again! Love this pair from Costco.  Goal: comfort and affordability.

Disney Parade

The Toddler took part in the annual Disney Costume Parade.  Now that Star Wars has officially been bought by Disney we thought it was only appropriate that he go as a Jedi/Stormtrooper.  “These aren’t the droids you are looking for.” Nerd alert.  Perhaps, now you see why the helmet made it’s appearance so many times this week. The Toddler was the lone boy in a sea of princesses.

Thirty princesses and a Jedi.

There was a dance party, trick or treating, and making a monster bag activity.  The Toddler loved every bit of it-especially the parade!  He puffed out his chest and walked proudly around.

The last three weeks I have felt like I was dying on the inside.  Literally.  Dying.  My lymph nodes swelled up to the size of two fists and I kept breaking a fever at night. Good-times.  I look great I tell yah!  Apparently, I shouldn’t try to tough things out anymore… Because I have a bad case of Mastitis.  BADDDD.(In your best sheep voice-humor me-I’m tired).  Two Nurse Practitioners practically jumped out of their skin when they saw it.  Ten days of antibiotics should do the trick.  Hoping to feel normal soon!

Our plan for the weekend includes carving our pumpkins, roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and relaxing!

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

Nuby Flip-It Easy Grip Cup Review

Nuby Flip-It Easy Grip Cup

Hello Fall! AND flu season.  Well, this little bad boy of a cup helps lock away germs with a flip of the top!  We use this cup when we go on our daily adventures to the park, library story time, and zoo.  The Toddler- who is almost two(be still my heart)- loves being able to flip open the top cap and flip it back closed.

The Toddler

The only way for us to see family is to take long road trips out to California from Arizona-or fly up to Washington and this cup helps prevent some cross contamination from all sorts of travel bugs-in my opinion.  This will definitely be our go-to cup for holiday trip to see our family!

Easy to use, clean, and carry on our adventures!

The Nuby Flip-It Easy Grip cup features an easy-to-use flip top cap.  This uniquely designed feature protects the straw from contamination when not in use, making it great for travel and short trips!

NEW Nuby Nite Time Glow in the Dark Pacifier Review

Nuby Nite Time Glow in the Dark Pacifier

Where have you been all my life?!?

SERIOUSLY.

To any parent who has to run back in and “pop” those little suckers back in their baby’s mouth-in the dark-ninja like-these little gems are for you!  The small part on the front that can be attached to a pacifier clip is the only part that glows-which in all actuality is a really good thing.  Too much and that would be an unnecessary distraction which could derail the bedtime routine. Which is not good for anyone.

The pacifiers stay bright, long enough for my little one to get through her “light” sleeping phase-which sort of resembles what I captured below… Em LOVES to pop that sucker out of her mouth in a fit of JOY. PURE JOY.  So when I run in to the rescue with my ninja-like parenting skills it helps to not have to turn on any lights to find the pacifier.  Genius.

I would like to give a big ‘ole hug to the person who invented this bad boy.

You just made my night.

Every night.

Em doing her best rendition of ditching in pacifier. All smiles.

LOVE.
