Teething Jewelry: Bracelet

Wearable Teething Jewelry is a mom lifesaver!  Through two kids under two I wore one every time I left the house(or remembered to-mom brain) and both baby and toddler loved the smooth texture and calming effects. I loved being able to pop the Teething Bracelet off my wrist and give it to my baby and toddler alike. Nuby-Teething-Bracelet-For-Mom

Both of them were instantly calmed with the soothing Nuby Teething Bracelet.

The colors available are PERFECT to compliment any of your daily outfits.  The chunky teething bracelet can easily be paired with watches and other fabulous bracelets for a fun look.  I love layering jewelry on my wrists!

Teething Trends™ Bangle Bracelet

Emma Marie wears the Nuby Teething Bracelet around the house when we do dress-up.  But note to self: teethers-all teethers- need to be used under the direct supervision of an adult. Safety before fashion. Hence why I wear bike-helmets even though they wreck havoc on my hair…

Making Meal Time FUN

Our meals are prepared at home every single day. Making meals that both my toddler AND preschooler love is a difficult task sometimes.  I do not have time to be a short order cook for every meal.  Making meal time FUN is essential at this age for a successful, healthy appetite.

Easy Snack and Meal Ideas to keep meal time fun!

Making Meal Time FUN

When each kid was a year and a half I started implementing rules about table manners.

-Always saying thank you after receiving their meal

-Saying please if they need extra milk or water

-Asking before they blow bubbles in their milk- blowing bubbles is one of life’s pure joys-do it and not smile-just try.

-Staying at the table until everyone has finished their meal

-Always asking about each other’s day- MY FAVORITE question to ask

Adding faces to ANYTHING on their plate’s equals immediate praise.  I mean, I can Picasso with the best of them and my “faces” make the cut.  So YOUR faces that you make with fruit-veggies-ANYTHING- will make the cut.  Now Emma Marie takes the time to rearrange her faces and plays with her food.  AND eats it-all of it.

Blowing Bubbles

Easy Snack and Meal Ideas to keep meal time fun!

My TIKI head that I made out of Greek Yogurt and fruit was a winner!  The kids thought it was hilarious that the TIKI was sticking their tongue out at them.  Whatever works.

PLUS I find if I add in as many colors of the rainbow as possible that they are more willing to just love the meal.  The brighter, the better.

You can follow along with me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest for more meal time ideas!

I grabbed a ten pack of Nestlé Nesquik® at Target and through a bunch in the fridge.  They can hang out in the pantry and you just throw some in the fridge when you want to spice up the meal with some chocolaty, healthy goodness.

I grew up on Nesquik.  LOVE being able to share in some simple joys with the kids that bring me back to my childhood.  You can BET that I blow bubbles with them.  Why not?

Nestlé Nesquik® Chocolate Low Fat Milk is made with 100% real milk and has 8g of protein in every 8 fluid ounce serving.  And, because #Nesquik® is specially packaged you can store it in your pantry. So feel free to stock up but don’t forget to refrigerate after opening.

Connect with Nesquik on Pinterest, Facebook, and on their website!

How do you make meal time fun?  Would LOVE to find out what works for your family!

The LOVE Bug Hand Print Art

The easiest craft for Valentine’s Day with your toddler and preschooler.  The Love Bug Hand Print Craft is a great way to save memories every year and to showcase new art up on the walls.  Kids truly do love seeing their art and crafts displayed.

The LOVE Bug Hand Print Art

Both of my munchkins LOVE playing with paint throughout the week.  They each chose the color for the body of their bug from about ten Valentine’s Day colors.  Giving them choices and a say always helps with making them feel truly involved during our art activities.

Love Bug Valentine's Day Craft for Toddlers & Preschoolers

Simply choose a body color and make the hand print.  I use clear tape to secure our card-stock to the table.  After waiting a minute or two(while each of them are off washing their hands) I flip the hand print around.

Purple-hand-print-art-valentines-day

The hand print is now in Love Bug form and you can now have them choose colors for wings and head.  I kept out our set of washable paints in Valentine’s Day colors and they each chose their next color.The-Love-Bug-Valentines-Day-Hand-Print-Art-Craft

The finishing touches are adding eyes with white(and then black if they want-mine chose against that-which I actually think makes them look creepy-BUT it was their LOVE Bugs).  Easy Valentine's Day Craft to make with toddlers and preschoolers!

Love Bug Hand Print Art

Supplies

-card-stock

-washable paint

-an eager toddler or preschooler

-frame or fridge to proudly display their Love Bug

Simply craft to make and give to family members this Valentine’s Day.  The keepsake of hand size along with the sweet gesture of handmade art is surely to win the hearts of grandparents everywhere.

What is your favorite Valentine’s Day Craft for toddlers or preschoolers?

Would love to find another craft or two(or three) to complete with my little ones before the holiday!
