As a busy mom and teacher, finding time to sort through ALL of the photos I took on our adventures the past year is near impossible. Improbable for sure. And making sure that I have a printed version of some of my FAVORITE family photos is incredibly important to me. Thankfully there is a new service by Shutterfly that helps out people like me. Can’t wait to share this fabulous new service… read on to find out more!
Shutterfly has created a Make My Book Service. You simply pick out and upload your photos from your computer or social sites and BOOM you are done. Sure you pick out the color of your book and how embellished it was… but after uploading all of my favorite photos from this past year- they uploaded FAST- I was ordering in a matter of minutes. Four to be exact.
How It Works:
1. Choose what you want: Select a book size and style. Upload your photos or entire albums from your desktop, phone, tablet, or Shutterfly account. We’ll design your book. We can even curate your best photos for you. P.S. It’s free to get started!
2. Receive your book: In as little as 3 business days, we’ll add your custom designed photo book to your account and email you to let you know it’s ready in your Shutterfly account.
3. View and order your book: Order your book as is or personalize it with your own finishing touches. The one-time $9.99 service fee is applied only once you order your finished book. To view your book or to make any edits, please use your desktop computer.
It’s as easy as that. You hardly need to invest any time (other than supplying your photos) and you only pay the design fee if you order the book.
So there you have it folks. In less than five minutes (after I batch uploaded my photos) I was on my way to adding another fabulous Shutterfly Book to our running collection. I love the quality that Shutterfly provides with their products and use them every year for holiday cards.
What are you waiting for? You need to check out this service STAT. Holiday Season is upon us and what better way than to have the Make My Book Service help in securing gifts for the grandparents? I think so.
What do you do to keep the memories?

Taco Tuesday is definitely a tradition that gets the family around the table. I love adding in fun mixings so that the kids can create their own dinner. Sure the mess may be a bit more than if I plated their own food, but they sure are proud about being big kids and making their own dinner. Here are two of our favorite ways to enjoy Taco Tuesday as a family.
Family Dinner- Taco Tuesday Recipe Ideas
Old El Paso makes fabulously fun ways to devour our favorite chicken and ground turkey tacos! I love the Taco Boats while the kids love the wide-bodied, gluten-free (MOM WIN) hard taco shells.

Taco Tuesday FAVES
-Pepper Jack Cheese
-Red-Orange-Yellow Bell Peppers
-Pico de Gallo Salsa
I LOVE watching my favorite football teams on the weekend and creating a Taco Bar with all of these fresh ingredients is EASY to prep ahead of the big game. Simply prep all ingredients, separate in bowls, and either brown your meat or put it in the slow-cooker the day of so you can have fresh meat options for your party guests. Don’t forget fresh salsa, guacamole, and oven fresh chips- get the bag you can warm up in the oven- it is life-changing.

Fall is HERE. The boots were on instantaniously and I have been anxiously awaiting the weather to follow suit and match up with the season. Such is the life of a desert dweller. Today I am sharing easy ways to add in steel cut oats and add a touch of sweetness to your morning breakfast.
Steel Cut Oats Smoothie Recipe
Smoothies are an easy way to add in Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats. Love getting a massive amount of protein and fiber in the morning- starts my day off just right- like my Cold Brew Coffee.
Stonyfield Organic Yogurt
Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats
Fresh Lemon Juice & Chunks
Blend to your little hearts content.
Fast, healthy, and delicious… I actually made a pact with myself this year to not eat or drink anything that wasn’t pleasing to the taste. Life is short. Eat what tastes good. Spit out the other stuff.
No, but honestly. I have stopped eating things that do not taste good. Easy concept and now I just don’t buy those mediocre foods and snacks.
Stonyfield Yogurt- Smooth & Creamy
Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free Options
Love having these Gluten-Free Options in the kitchen. We are a food-allergy family and companies that take our allergies seriously are hard to come by. Definitely trust Bob’s Red Mill.
Stonyfield Yogurt & Bob’s Red Mill Coconut Sugar
For an added treat, for breakfast or that late evening snack, I simply add Bob’s Red Mill Organic Coconut Sugar. The added touch of sweetness is just enough to take the meal to treat factor. Love it.
