High School Coach & Nutrition on the Run

The second quarter of the school year has just ended and this High School Coach is ready for a break! As a busy mother of two, AP Teacher, and Varsity Boy’s Soccer Coach my schedule is constantly in flux. Making sure that everyone has everything they need in the classroom, at home, and on the field is taxing. Check out how I have made sure I don’t crash during the 15 hour days I put in with teaching and then coaching.
High School Varsity Soccer Coach
Every morning at 5AM I throw breakfast, lunch, and snacks into my teacher cooler and head out the door with coffee in hand. My car smells like the Soccer Field and the coffee in my hands helps just a bit… but good lord. With all of the brain power, mom power, and coaching power flowing throughout the day I can get pretty burned out. To stop the mid-day slump I grab one of the Dannon®Oikos® Nonfat from my cooler I keep in my classroom.

The quarter was coming to an end (I teach at a Year-Round-Schedule School) grades were due, students were antsy, and the heat just won’t quit here in the Valley of the Sun.
